Zach made the Newspaper

We had an interview with one of the local newspaper reporters on Monday about Zach's new room. She was very nice and asked several questions about their disease process and how it plays into our daily lives. Here is the link to the story.

Zach's New Room

Zach was fortunate enough to recieve a "dream" from the Dream Factory. While Zach and I were away at a hemophilia event this past weekend, the local Dream Factory worked to make over Zach's room. The final results were nothing short of amazing. The picture above is the look on his face as he first walked into his newly redone room. He was very excited and speechless. All he could say is "WOW" and "COOL" as he opened his eyes. Due to some technical difficulties, I can not get the video to upload at this time, but I'm working on it. I guess better late than never. We got about 4-5 inches of snow a little over a week ago. It started on Friday afternoon and snowed on into the night. We woke up to this beautiful winter wonderland. Of course, we had to go outside and play in it. Even Sunny enjoyed the snow.

Happy 2nd Birthday Will

Since today is Will's 2nd birthday, we fixed his favorite meal for supper tonight, Spaghetti. As you can see, he really enjoyed what actually made it in his mouth. He insisted on feeding himself. Happy Birthday Will.

The Big Present

After alot of work from several individuals, Will's big birthday present came together just before his party. With the help of Chad Moore, Chad McNeill, Luke Lamar, Patrick Holden, and mostly alot of help from POPPY(my dad), we finished this massive project in a week. Will's First Haircut

Will got his first haircut last Saturday, February 23rd. He did very well and sat still during the entire time. Of course, Mrs. Melissa gave him plenty of things to play with including her water bottle which he squirted everywhere. Click below for several more pictures.

Piano Concert

Are you smarter than a 5th grader??????

Zach competed in the 5th grade spelling bee this morning. Although he did not place high enough to move to the county wide spelling bee, he did finish 11th out of 30 other kids. There are about 300 kids in the 5th grade class this year and each class sent the top three out of their class. Zach also won the spelling bee for his hub(two classes) to make it to the spelling bee today. GREAT JOB ZACH!!!!!! Click below for a couple more pictures.

Here Comes Santa Claus

We took Zach and Will to visit the jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus this afternoon. Santa has a new place to stop by and visit in Dyer Co. on the courthouse lawn. This small cottage was just built this year for him to come down and visit. It was really nice and the boys both got a candy cane. Click below for more. Oh, and by the way, Will was not afraid of Santa one bit. He sat right on his lap and said "EEEEESSSSEEEEE"

Future Shriner

Will decided to try and ride one of his brother's toy motorcycles. I think he looks like a shriner in training for a christmas parade. HA HA HA

Christmas Tree

We put up our tree almost two weeks ago, but I'm just now getting to posting the pictures. Will is very excited by the tree this year and has not learned that he is not allowed to mess with it. I think he will end up pulling it down before christmas is over. Zach is finally big enough to put the angel on top. Click below to see more pictures.
